Creating the perfect whisky

I’ve blogged before about the nature of brands within the whisky sector.

At its most basic, to be able to be call their product ‘scotch whisky’ there are a number of hoops that any whisky company must jump through from a ‘regulatory’ standpoint.

In addition all of the whisky distilleries, large and small have an interest in creating unique, complex and flavoursome versions or expressions of their whisky which fit a variety of needs from the simple blend right up to a massively complex special release malt worth hundreds of pounds.

To achieve these results, the distilleries employ extremely talented master blenders whose role it is, like a Michelin star chef, to come up with the very finest in taste, nose and finish for each expression.

Every bottle of whisky that is sold by Prestige Whisky has gone through this exhaustive and often years (or decades!) long process. So whether you’re buying for yourself, an employee/client or as a gift for a loved one and regardless of the brand you choose : Macallan, The Balvenie, A Glenlivet or a Glenfiddich you can rest assured that every bottle of whisky we supply for Prestige Whisky customers is the genuine article.
