Birthday searches and SSL security

If you've dropped by www.prestigewhisky.com recently you'll see a couple of changes to the home page.

We talk a little bit about the SSL encryption we're using provided by our payment gateway - RBS Worldpay. We've always used this to ensure maximum protection for our customers but a couple of people have pointed out that mention of payment security is 'hidden' away in our terms and conditions - we thought it pretty important then to make sure all our customers know that they are 100% secure when they shop with Prestige Whisky - feel free to contact us for more information if you like the techy stuff !

Also on the homepage now are details of our revised quick search facility. If you'd like to locate a whisky for a birthday or anniversary simply type in either the year ore age/anniversary (e.g. 30 years) and our system will bring up a range of suggested whiskies that might fit.

Given that we now have pushing 200 fine expressions with many more to be added in coming weeks this facility will also help you locate anything within the site - you can also search by brand or distillery.
