Bigger and better in 2010

We've had a brief break from new media over the Festive period (not from work on the whisky website where it has been MANIC) but now we're back with avengence for 2010.

In coming weeks and months you'll see new stock, new suppliers, new marketing deals and announcements and a whole host of developments as we begin to build on the lessons learned in 2009 and progress from our business plan applied into 2010.

I'll do a full round up of where I think we are after our first year of begin live towards the end of December or early in January - suffice to say we are ahead of our projections on virtually all levels and keen to push on

Following a fabulously busy and successful Festive period we've now stopped taking orders for Christmas delivery.

Between now and the 4th of January we are accepting orders as usual but within our usual five working day delivery where possible (given the bank holidays etc this may slip a little).

You rang me earlier today chasing a bottle of Macallan Amber, you left me a number and asked me to call back once I'd checked if it was available - it's not I'm afraid but the number you gave me doesn't have a voicemail attached to it and I've tried it three times this afternoon - sorry but I couldn't get hold of you - here's hoping you check out our blog or Twitter account !

I think i may have blogged about the following topic before in the last few weeks - you'd think I'd be able to be bothered to locate and link to this item on my own blog - but I can't .....

Anyway, we currently have 9 subscribers to this blog (as shown when you search for 'Prestige Whisky' on the search function on google reader). I think I'd asked people to subscribe in a previous blog and see if we can up the numbers a bit.

However, despite the raging success of the website traffic at www.prestigewhisky.com; over 1100 visits to the blog and now nearly a 1,000 followers on Twitter we still can't get past 10 subscribers.

Come on, it's the festive period - subscribe via your favourite rss feed thingy and give us some more good numbers to end the year.

Busy at PW towers

We're beginning to see a large rush on orders for Christmas and in the UK you've got until Friday to make your order over at www.prestigewhisky.com.

For everywhere else I'm afraid the chances are that your order will now be coming across in either the two or three working days between the 25th of December and the New Year or in early 2010.
