“We are really excited about the launch of our oldest ever Old Pulteney. This whisky has been looked after at the distillery for 30 years and the age contributes a huge amount of complexity. It has all the hallmarks of Old Pulteney; spice and green apples, and sweet vanilla and coconut notes from the American Oak. But unusually for such an old whisky there’s a remarkable touch of tropical fruit on the nose – some people have picked up guavas and mangos! I’d say that for a malt whisky with so much age and depth, it’s still incredibly approachable.”

Admin work on a Friday

Overnight I've made some minor copy and even more minor structural updates to the website which are now available today at www.prestigewhisky.com

I've also updated our twitter followers (all 161 of them - and hi to everyone on twitter who's now following the PW story !)

Some exciting new whiskies to come next week as well as a couple of very exciting new marketingy type things that I think will single us out as pretty unique within our marketing space - watch this, er.... well..... marketing space I suppose. We'll announce things on here first before launching them onto the site formally.

New stock

As time goes by I am adding new stock items to www.prestigewhisky.com whenever I can.

We launched in mid June with approximately 60 items and are now up to over 80 with another 200 or so exciting new items still to appear.

Loaded on yesterday evening and now available are the following fine whiskies :
